I was born in 2004 at Gil Hospital in Guwol-dong, Incheon and lived in East-Incheon. Then I moved to Yecheon-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, where I spent most of my school days. When I turned 20, I moved back to Incheon, took the college entrance exam again, and entered Gyeongin National University of Education. For the past two years, I have been attending school in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon, and from this year to next year, I plan to attend school in Anyang, Gyeonggi-do. I have traveled to many places in Korea, including Jeju Island, Busan, Daegu, and Suncheon, and among them, I liked Jeju Island the best, so I have been there many times. I have traveled abroad to the US, Canada, the Philippines, and Japan, and have been to the US twice, once in 2017 and once in 2024. And in the future, I'd like to visit Taiwan. There was a Taiwanese drama I really liked for a while, and I'd like to experience the Taiwanese culture and sentiment portrayed in it.
저는 2004년 인천 구월동에 위치한 길병원에서 태어나 동인천에서 살았습니다. 그러다 경상북도 예천군으로 이사를 가 학창시절의 대부분을 보냈습니다. 20살이 되었을 때, 다시 인천으로 이동해 재수를 하고 경인교육대학교에 입학했습니다. 지난 2년 동안은 인천 계양구에서 학교를 다녔고, 올해부터 내년까지는 경기도 안양에서 학교생활을 할 예정입니다. 저는 제주도, 부산, 대구, 순천 등 국내 여러 지역을 여행했었고 그 중에 제주도 지역이 가장 좋았어서 여러 번 더 다녀왔습니다. 해외여행은 미국, 캐나다, 필리핀, 일본을 갔었고 미국은 2017년에 한 번, 2024년에 한 번 이렇게 두 번 다녀왔습니다. 그리고 앞으로는 대만이라는 나라를 가보고 싶습니다. 제가 한동안 정말 좋아했던 대만 드라마가 있었는데, 그 드라마에 나온 대만의 문화와 정서를 경험해보고 싶기 때문입니다.
After attending a geography class on March 10, 2026, I began to think of other reasons to visit Taiwan beyond simple tourism. When I was in high school, I took a class called 'East Asian History'. At that time, I had briefly learned about Taiwan's history, and I was very interested in the fact that this country, which started from mainland China, established a government called the Republic of China, and I thought that I would like to explore Taiwan's history further. Visiting Taiwan in person will greatly help me explore Taiwan's history through first-hand experiences. So, I would like to conclude that this is another reason why I want to visit Taiwan.
2026년 3월 10일 지리교재론 수업을 듣고 단순한 관광의 이유에서 더 나아가 대만을 가보고 싶은 또 다른 이유를 생각해보게 되었습니다. 저는 고등학생 때, '동아시아사' 과목의 수업을 들었습니다. 그때 대만의 역사에 대해서 간략하게 배웠었는데, 중국 대륙에서 시작된 이 나라가 중화민국이라는 정부를 설립하기까지의 사실이 굉장히 흥미로워 대만의 역사를 더 탐구해보고 싶다는 생각을 한 적이 있습니다. 대만을 직접 가보면 몸소 체험하는 것을 통해 대만의 역사를 탐구하는 것에 많은 도움이 될 것입니다. 따라서 이것이 제가 대만을 방문하고 싶은 또 다른 이유라 결론 내리고 싶습니다.
