한국의 대관령은 특히 눈이 많이 오는 곳입니다. 그래서 많은 눈을 볼 수 있고, 눈을 활용한 다양한 체험도 즐길 수 있습니다. 눈썰매 타기, 얼음 미끄럼틀, 눈사람 만들기, 얼음조각 만들기 같은 활동은 물론이고, 전통놀이와 군고구마·군밤 같은 겨울 먹거리, 강원도 특산품도 만나볼 수 있습니다.

저는 오스트리아 할슈타트에서 눈을 본 적이 있는데, 대관령에 오시면 한국만의 눈 활용 방식과 지역 문화를 또 다른 느낌으로 경험하실 수 있을 것 같습니다. 오셔서 겨울 계절의 특별한 추억도 만들어보셨으면 좋겠습니다.

Daegwallyeong in Korea is especially known for its heavy snowfall. You can see plenty of snow there and enjoy various snow-related activities. From snow sledding, ice slides, snowman making, and ice sculpture crafting to traditional games, roasted sweet potatoes and chestnuts, and even local specialties from Gangwon-do — there’s a lot to experience.

I’ve seen snow in Hallstatt, Austria, but visiting Daegwallyeong would let you experience Korea’s unique way of enjoying the snow and its regional winter culture in a completely different way. I hope you can create some special winter memories as well.

I’m living in Anyang city.

When I traveled to Austria, I initially focused only on the city, but as I drove deeper into the countryside and arrived in Hallstatt, I felt a special kind of happiness. Geographically, Hallstatt is located between the Alps with a large lake at its center, giving me the feeling of being far away from the city and fully immersed in nature. I was also impressed by the way colorful little houses were clustered together to form a village within such a limited space. This unique geographical scenery, which is hard to find in Korea, made the experience all the more special and memorable for me.

관심 있는 나라는 오스트리아입니다. 오스트리아를 여행했을 때 처음에는 도시만 바라보다가, 차를 타고 깊숙이 들어가 도착한 할슈타트에서 특별한 행복이 느껴졌습니다. 지리적으로 할슈타트는 알프스 산맥 사이에 큰 호수가 자리한 곳이라 마치 도시에서 멀리 떨어져 온전히 자연 속에 있는 듯한 느낌을 주었습니다. 또한, 한정된 공간에 알록달록한 작은 집들이 모여 마을을 이루는 모습이 인상적이었습니다. 한국에서는 쉽게 볼 수 없는 이러한 지리적 풍경 덕분에 더욱 특별하고 행복한 기억으로 남았습니다.
