Hello! My name is umutoniwase ornella.


And that's me. 

That’s the hotel called Kigali convention center, in Rwanda is convention centre in kigali ,the capital and large city in Rwanda.



That was me but truly I was disappointed by the climatic conditions because I wasn’t expecting that season and it was very difficult for me 😃but also was an enjoyable experience because that was the first time for me being in onother country



And as you can see here we was very happy 😃 aside from that heating



As you can see this was the first thing I was very excited 😆 to wear because I usually see it in movies and I really love it aside from how I was really sweating I insisted and I really enjoyed

I heard that Rwanda is the safest country to live and travel, l wonder what you think and feel about this as a local.

    1. To answer jiwon’s question …yes Rwanda is one of the safest travel destinations to visit in Africa and one of the countries with stable political environment

      Security presence is visible every where ranging from police and hotel security and the tourism police to ensure you safe and your stay in undisturbed you can walk around any corner and you will see the officer or army man don’t fret they are there to keep you safe

      National parks
      Museum
      Rock’s

What foods or activities are popular among teenagers and people in their 20s these days in Rwanda? I'm curious because it doesn't come up well in textbooks or searches!

    1. To answer haein’s question … in Rwanda we have some many popular food and activities among teenagers and people in their 20’s but the likeble and most popular are

      Umutsima (a dish of cassava and corn)
      Isombe (cassava leaves with aggpplant and spinach)
      Mizuzu (fried plantains)
      Even some chicken’s,rice,and cheep’s

      Some popular activities includes

      Football(soccer)
      Valley ball
      Track and field(athletics)
      Basketball

      Kigali lies in region of rolling hills with a series of valleys and ridges joined by steep slopes

    1. To answe yujin’s question…well life in Rwanda is very good one we are even celebrating the Easter Day but also we are in rainy season but life is satisfying and very much enjoyable

      About prejudice i didn’t ever felf prejudice in whole my life I have ever live in Rwanda

Currently, students in Korea are using Instagram or TikTok to take and upload various photos and videos. I wonder if students in Rwanda are similar to those in Korea. I want to know if the students who take pictures and post videos are a small number of students or a large number of students.

    1. To answer soojeong’s question…yes the Rwandan students are also popular in using instagram,facebook, twitter ,YouTube and tik tok

      So that’s why we have a large number of students that takes photos and appload videos in different social medias

      Political repression
      Freedom of expression

      Sexually orientation and gender identity
