The weather in Korea has been strange lately. It’s been so dry that wildfires are easily sustained. While it’s natural for Korea to experience dryness due to seasonal winds, the prolonged dry conditions are clearly abnormal.
This kind of climate anomaly is not unique to Korea, nor did it happen overnight. For decades, we have ignored the Earth’s warnings.
Now, I’m starting to see efforts from individuals, governments, and corporations to protect the environment. Although these actions may seem a bit late, it is still very encouraging and necessary to take active steps for the environment—even now.
