Realized that establishing an "Energy-Efficient AI Consumption Culture" is an urgent challenge, as students prompted AI indiscriminately without realizing it triggers full-capacity GPU operations and vast carbon emissions at data centers.
2. O (OBSTACLE / Root Cause Analysis)
The fundamental problem is a total lack of awareness. Students do not misuse AI out of environmental apathy, but because they simply do not know that casual prompting wastes enormous energy, or that technical solutions—such as prompting in English to skip translation pipelines or fixing system prompts to reduce token generation—actually save power.
3. P (PLAN / Target Media for Student Propagation)
To effectively spread the "Green Prompting Guidelines" (Prompt Diet, English prompting, Dark Mode, and utilizing low-power System Prompts, Using standard search bars for simple tasks and other various methods.), the campaign will target media channels that students check daily: University community apps, official school Learning Management Systems via login pop-up banners, and high-engagement short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube) tailored for tech-savvy generations.
4. E (EXECUTE / Policy Enactment & Institutional Execution Plan)
Execute structural change through top-down government mandates and institutional enforcement:
- National Notice by Relevant
Authorities: Partner with competent government ministries and relevant
digital/environmental agencies worldwide to issue public official
guidelines to all citizens regarding AI power reduction.
- Institutional Education
Integration: Mandate all elementary, middle, high schools, and universities to
integrate low-power AI literacy into their regular curricula. Educate
students to use standard search engines for simple queries, formulate
highly specific multi-conditional prompts, and restrict unnecessary
image/video generation.
- Corporate Mandates via Official Directives: Issue official administrative letters from relevant government authorities to major corporations and tech industries, enforcing firms to distribute internal compliance guidelines so that employees systematically practice the prompt diet during work hours.
