Hello. My name is Debora Huh.
I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but when I was four years old, my family moved to Nepal because my parents were missionaries. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. This year, I returned to Korea to begin my studies at Handong Global University.
Growing up in a different country allowed me to experience various cultures, languages, and ways of life from an early age. Living in Nepal also gave me the opportunity to meet people from many different backgrounds and to see both the challenges and the beauty of life in a developing country. Watching my parents serve and help others had a significant impact on me and shaped the way I view the world.
At the moment, I do not have a specific career path in mind. However, there is one thing I know for sure: I want to travel around the world, meet diverse people, and help those in need. No matter what profession I choose in the future, I hope to make a positive impact on others and contribute to creating a better world.
I look forward to continuing to learn from different cultures and people while discovering how I can best serve others throughout my life.

저는 한국 서울에서 태어났지만, 부모님께서 선교사로 사역하셨기 때문에 만 4살 때 네팔로 이주하게 되었습니다. 이후 대부분의 성장 과정을 네팔의 수도 카트만두에서 보냈고, 올해 한동대학교에 입학하면서 다시 한국으로 오게 되었습니다.
어린 시절부터 서로 다른 문화와 언어, 다양한 배경을 가진 사람들 속에서 살아왔기 때문에 자연스럽게 넓은 시야를 갖게 되었습니다. 특히 네팔에서 생활하며 경제적·사회적으로 어려움을 겪는 사람들을 가까이에서 볼 수 있었고, 그들을 돕기 위해 헌신하시는 부모님의 모습을 보며 많은 영향을 받았습니다.
현재 제게는 특정한 직업에 대한 명확한 꿈이 있는 것은 아닙니다. 하지만 한 가지 분명한 바람은 있습니다. 그것은 세계 여러 나라를 경험하며 다양한 사람들을 만나고, 도움이 필요한 곳에서 사람들을 돕는 삶을 살아가는 것입니다. 저는 어떤 형태로든 다른 사람들에게 긍정적인 영향을 주고, 더 나은 세상을 만드는 데 기여하는 사람이 되고 싶습니다.
앞으로도 새로운 문화와 사람들을 배우는 열린 마음을 가지고, 세상을 향해 나아가는 삶을 살아가고자 합니다.
