I was born in Daegu and moved to Gumi when I was 2 years old, so I have been living in Gumi ever since. I went to elementary and middle school in Okgye-dong, Gumi City, and I graduated from high school in Jisan-dong. I am currently attending Gyeongin University of Education in Anyang. When I was young, I traveled to Japan, the Philippines, Guam, and China as well as many domestic trips such as Gyeongju, Busan, Daejeon, and Pyeongchang, and experienced various cultures. When I came to university, I had great experiences by traveling to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan. In the future, I would like to travel to United Kingdom.
저는 대구에서 태어나, 2살 때 구미로 이사가서 지금까지 쭉 구미에 살고 있습니다. 구미시 옥계동에서 초등학교와 중학교를 다니고, 고등학교는 지산동에 있는 학교를 나왔습니다. 현재는 안양에 있는 경인교육대학교에 재학중입니다. 어렸을 때 경주, 부산, 대전, 평창 등 수많은 국내여행을 더불어 일본, 필리핀, 괌, 중국 등을 여행하며 다양한 나라의 문화를 접해보았습니다. 대학교에 와서는 말레이시아, 베트남,일본을 여행하며 좋은 경험을 쌓았습니다. 향후에는 영국을 여행해보고 싶습니다.
The reason I became interested in England was the pronunciation of British English. Through the world-famous Harry Potter movie, I was attracted to British English after hearing the pronunciation of English which is different from American English. Among the various cities in England, the reason why I especially want to go to London is that it is the capital of England and there are many famous structures. When I travel to England later, I really want to take a picture on Tower Bridge and go to St. Paul's Cathedral. And I want to visit the British museum, one of the three major museums in the world, and see world-class cultural assets. And I want to visit Westminster Abbey and feel the reverence emanating from the magnificent buildings.
영국에 관심을 가지게 된 계기는 영국 영어의 ‘발음’이었습니다. 전 세계적으로 유명한 ‘해리포터’ 영화를 통해 미국 영어와 다른 영국 영어의 발음을 듣고서 영국 영어에 매력을 느끼게 되었습니다. 영국의 다양한 도시들 중 특별히 제가 런던을 가고 싶은 이유는, 런던이 영국의 수도이기도 하고 유명한 건축물들이 많기 때문입니다. 나중에 영국으로 여행을 가게 되면, 타워 브리지에서 사진을 꼭 찍고 싶고, 세인트 폴 대성당도 꼭 가고 싶습니다. 그리고 세계 3대 박물관으로 손꼽히는 영국 박물관을 방문해서 세계적인 문화재들도 보고 싶고, 웨스트민스터 사원을 방문해서 웅장한 건물에서 뿜어져 나오는 경건함을 느껴보고 싶습니다.
