GG Friends and Chungnam supporters — Chebet, Aupal, Manuel, Nicole, and Steven Chan from Kenya, Uganda, Germany, Malaysia, and Indonesia respectively — paid a visit to the Korea-Africa Foundation (KAF) in Seoul on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The
Korea-Africa Foundation (KAF) was established in June 2018 as an affiliation of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea, with the mission of promoting genuine
partnership with the African continent in political, economic, cultural,
academic and other various areas.
During the visit, the group met with the President of KAF, Ambassador H.E Kim Young Chae, who has held several ambassadorial posts, most recently serving as Korea’s Ambassador to Nigeria Ambassador Kim Young Chae Farewell in Nigeria . The GG Friends engaged in insightful discussions with the Ambassador on topics such as Korean geography, the geography of their respective countries, and current national and international affairs that spanned across the fields of politics, economics, and culture among others. The visit concluded with a group photo session, marking the end of a memorable Public Diplomacy engagement at KAF.
