Minsoo Kim-From Incheon to Europe
My name is Kim Min-soo. My English name is Tim, and my English academy teacher named me in my childhood academy. Listening to what the professor said, I realized the importance of geography and space. The academy I went to when I was young was near my house, but if I didn't go to the academy near my house, I might not have made an English name yet, or if I went to another academy, I could have made another English name.
My hometown is located in Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. Just as Incheon's slogan is "All ways Inchon," Incheon is a regional hub that can head to various countries such as Incheon Airport and Wolmido Island, and thanks to my birth in Incheon, I have a dream to travel around the world. Whenever I travel from Incheon Airport, my friends say that it took less than an hour to get here, but at this time, they envy me a lot
제 이름은 김민수입니다. 영어이름은 Tim이며, 어릴적 다녔던 학원에서 영어학원선생님께서 지어주셨습니다. 교수님의 말씀을 듣고보니 지리, 공간의 중요성이 새삼 느껴졌던 것 같습니다. 제가 어릴적 다녔던 학원은 집 근처였는데, 집 근처의 학원을 다니지 않았다면 아직까지 영어이름이 지어지지 않았을수도 있고 또 다른 학원을 다녔다면 또 다른 영어이름이 지어졌을수도 있는것처럼 지리적인 공간의 중요성을 새삼 깨달을 수 있었습니다.
제 본가는 인천광역시 남동구 구월동에 위치하고 있습니다. 인천의 슬로건이 All ways Incheon인것처럼 인천은 인천공항, 월미도 등 다양한 나라로 향할 수 있는 지역적 거점이며 이런 인천에서 태어난 덕분에 저는 세계를 여행하고 싶은 꿈을 가지고 있습니다. 인천공항에서 여행을 갈때마다 친구들이 여기까지 오는데 얼마나 걸렸냐하면 1시간도 안걸렸다고 답하곤 하는데 이럴때면 친구들이 꽤나 부러워하곤 합니다.
My favorite private place is the dorm bed. In this space, I often indulge in deep contemplation as I relax. It's my own place where creativity grows and sometimes laughter blooms.
제가 좋아하는 사적장소는 기숙사 침대입니다. 이 공간에서 저는 휴식을 취하면서 깊은 사색에 빠지곤합니다. 창의력이 피어나기도 하고 때론 웃음꽃이 피는 저만의 장소입니다.
인천정각초등학교 (Jeong-gak Elementary School)
큰사람을 기르기 위한 교육을 실시하는 학교이다.
