Introduction (소개)

Hi, I’m Eunsong Lee, and I major in English Education. My name actually means “silver pine tree”. 

I was born in Changwon and lived in Busan for a long time. Maybe that's why I love being out in nature, whether it’s by the ocean or in the mountains. Still what I enjoy most is taking walks along the beach.

Greece is a country I am interested in. It is located in southeastern Europe, at the southern end of the Balkan Peninsula. The country is surrounded by seas on three sides: the Mediterranean, the Aegean, and the Ionian. It has about 6,000 islands, with Crete, Santorini, and Rhodes being especially famous. I especially want to travel to Santorini in Greece, which is famous as a resort destination with its beautiful emerald-colored sea. I think I would feel so happy walking along the seaside there.

안녕하세요. 저는 영어교육과 이은송 Eunsong Lee 입니다. 저의 이름은 은빛 소나무라는 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 

저는 창원에서 태어나 부산에서 많은 시간을 보냈습니다. 그래서인지 바다나 산이 있는 자연의 공간을 좋아하고 특히 바닷가를 산책하는 것을 좋아합니다.

저는 그리스에 매우 큰 관심이 있습니다. 그리스는 유럽 남동부에 위치해 있고, 발칸반도의 남쪽 끝에 자리 잡고 있다고 합니다. 삼 면이 바다로 둘러싸여 있으며, 지중해, 에게해, 그리고 이오니아해와 맞닿아 있습니다. 약 6,000개의 섬을 가지고 있는데, 그중 크레타, 산토리니, 로도스 같은 섬이 특히 유명하다고 합니다. 저는 특히 에메랄드 빛 바다가 아름다운 휴양지로 유명한 그리스 산토리니에 꼭 여행을 가보고 싶습니다. 그 곳의 바다를 거닐면 너무 행복할 것 같다는 생각이 듭니다.

제가 관심 있는 그리스 국가의 지리가 어떠한 방식으로 그 역사에 영향을 미쳤는지 궁금합니다. 그래서 지리와 역사의 통합에 관심이 있습니다.

학창시절 지리와 세계역사를 포함한 사회과목을 배웠고 대학에서 법과 한국사를 공부한 경험이 있습니다. 사회과교육론1에서 사회 전반적인 내용에 대해 배웠습니다. 

이 수업을 통해 사회과 지식을 배우는 것뿐만 아니라 초등 사회 교육에 대한 저의 생각을 정리할 수 있는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠습니다. 감사합니다.

My favorite place in Korea

I love Han River. The Han River is the most famous river running through Seoul and is a symbol of Korea history and culture. Along the river, there are parks and walking trails where people can ride bicycles, have picnics and relax. At night, the colorful lights on the bridges and the riverside views create a beautiful nightscape. The Han River is a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Seoul.

저는 한강을 좋아합니다. 한강은 서울을 가로지르는 대표적인 강으로, 한국의 역사와 문화를 상징합니다. 강 주변에는 공원과 산책로가 잘 조성되어 있어 시민들이 자전거를 타거나 피크닉을 즐기며 휴식을 취할 수 있습니다. 밤에는 다리 위의 화려한 조명과 강변의 야경이 어우러져 아름다운 풍경을 감상할 수 있습니다. 한강은 서울을 방문하는 사람들이 꼭 경험해야 할 장소입니다.
