Hi I am Kim Heesu from Jeonju.
My grandfather chose this name using the Chinese characters that mean “bright” and “outstanding,” reflecting his hope that I would grow up bright and exceptional.
I was born in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do, but moved to Jeonju when I was seven and have lived there ever since. Located in the heart of Jeollabuk-do, Jeonju has the smallest land area among the province’s cities yet the largest population.
제 이름은 김희수입니다. 영어 표기로는 Kim Hee-su입니다. 제 이름은 할아버지가 지어주셨는데 한자 "밝을 희, 빼어날 수"를 써서 밝고 빼어나게 자라면 좋겠다는 할아버지의 뜻이 담겨 있습니다.
저는 전라북도 익산에서 태어났지만 7살에 전주로 이사 온 후 지금까지 살고 있습니다. 전주는 전라북도의 중앙에 위치해 있으며, 모든 전라북도의 도시 중에 면적이 가장 작지만 가장 많은 인구를 보유하고 있습니다.
