Mr. Lee Myeong Jun served as the president of the National Association of Geography Teachers and is also the author of several popular geography books, including Crossing Borders with Geography.
Mr. Lee Myeong Jun is a geography teacher in Gyeonggi Province who finds happiness through geography and dreams that the geography he teaches will, in turn, help his students live happier lives. Through the National Association of Geography Teachers, he collaborates with fellow educators to design engaging geography lessons and strives to share the value and attractions of the subject more widely. In particular, he is interested in creating classes that weave geography together with themes such as travel, cities, climate change, spatial statistical analysis, coexistence, and peace. As a director of the Great Geographic Society, he represents the field of geography education.
