GG Mentor : Director Park Hee-Jae from Incheon to the World

 Mr. Park Hee-Jae, a director of the Great Geographic Society, previously served as the head of the Incheon News Bureau at the Dong-A Ilbo and as the 12th president of the Incheon Journalists’ Club.

Beginning his career in 1989 as a reporter for the Gyeongin Ilbo, he later joined the Dong-A Ilbo in 1992, working in the Metropolitan, Issues, and Social Affairs departments, and has been active as a journalist for over 30 years. As a board member of the Sae-eol Cultural Foundation and editor-in-chief of the Incheon Journal, published by the Incheon Journalists’ Club, he has been at the forefront of planning and reporting on major Incheon issues, while also leading efforts to protect the Yeongjong tidal flats and promote eco-tourism.
