Seongnam Friends : Shinheung Primary School

Shinheung Primary School  is one of the best schools in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, S. Korea.

Korea is located below China and to the left of Japan. Korea is divided into North Korea and South Korea. And we live in South Korea.

The national flag of Korea is the Taegeukgi and the national flower is the Rose of Sharon. The capital of Korea is Seoul, and Koreans value courtesy. The language of Korea is Hangul. Kimchi and bibimbap are famous traditional Korean foods.

Korean traditional dance is a mask dance performed using a mask.

And Korean traditional houses include tile-roofed houses and thatched houses.

Seongnam City is a view located in the middle of Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. Seongnam City is a satellite city in Seoul.

Population 93.07 million (February 2022).

There is Namhansanseong Provincial Park, which houses Namhansanseong Fortress, one of the four major fortresses that guarded Hanyang in the past.

The main industries are manufacturing, especially high-tech industries such as semiconductors and automobile parts.

The name of our school is Seongnam Shinheung Elementary School. The flowers or trees that represent our school are forsythia flowers and zelkova trees. Also, our school opened on September 1, 1992. And our school has a playground, a gym, and a cafeteria. Also, our school is planting and growing cherry tomatoes and lettuce during thread time. Also, our school serves delicious meals every Wednesday.

Hello, we are class 1, grade 5 at Seongnam Shinheung Elementary School. Our class's name is Wonseok Class. The meaning of Wonseok Class is 'We are raw stones that will soon become jewels.' Now, I'll introduce our teacher. Our teacher's name is Song Eunhwa! Our teacher is very kind and very friendly.

We are doing activities to introduce our country's culture and learn about the cultures of other countries.
