The north-central region is a flat-top Nordic plain formed during the Ice Age, consisting of ice sheets and melted lakes composed of sand and high-quality soil. Located in the Viswa Triangle, which meets the Baltic Sea, the Rajki Elbrenski region is characterized by an ice sheet topography and is only 1.8m above sea level. The southern region belongs to the Nordic Plain, which used to consist of rivers and valleys during the Ice Age, and is now composed of mountainous areas. The Sudeti Mountains, which extend to the northern Czech Republic, are located in the west, and the Carpathian and Tatra Mountains are located in the east, forming a border with Slovakia around this. The Tatra Mountains are made up of about 70 mountains with an altitude of more than 2,000 m, with the highest mountain being Mount Rishi, which reaches 2,999 m above sea level. Mount Rishi is spectacular, with the location of Lake Charni Star, also known as the Black Lake, and Lake Morski Oko, nicknamed the Snow of the Sea, at 1,583 m above sea level. Along with the Tatra Mountains, the Phenina Mountains, which are designated as national parks, and the Civientoksiskiye Mountains, which means the Holy Cross, are also representative attractions. The monastery, located on Mount Wissa in the Civientokskiye Mountains, has been called the Holy Cross Mountains because relics made of the crucifix of Jesus were stored.
However, despite Korea having four distinct seasons, the reason why spring has become so cold that it snows in March is probably due to climate change, such as global warming, which is a serious problem that is currently occurring all over the world. Can you feel climate change in Poland with the weather?
In December 2019, the European Union adopted the European Green Deal, which contains a climate neutrality plan by 2050, and as a first step, planned to reduce member countries' greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990. However, Poland, an economic structure that is absolutely dependent on coal, has been at odds with the European Union against this. Poland is pushing ahead with its own plan to reduce coal use by 50% by 2030 and replace the shortfall with renewable energy and nuclear power to achieve carbon neutrality, zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. In this situation, I wonder if the current social atmosphere in Poland has decreased the rate of coal use or if so, how much.
