Home: Lately, cars are being used so frequently that the air has become polluted, and it seems to be causing harm to those around us, especially people like me with sensitive lungs.
Overview: I believe this is happening because Mexico's economy is not yet highly developed, so people cannot afford to purchase expensive hybrid or electric vehicles.
Plan: Since it is difficult to suddenly make people buy electric cars, I think it would be better to encourage the use of public transportation to reduce car usage instead. In other words, I propose making public transportation cleaner and safer rather than spending more money on manufacturing cars.
Execution: To encourage people to use public transportation more instead of buying cars, we should lower fares and significantly increase the gap between the cost of public transport and car maintenance. Then, we can request the government to further develop public transportation.
