Gyesu Elementary School is a public elementary school located in 203 Gyesu-ro, Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, and opened on October 1, 1949.
It is a school with a long tradition and is an educational institution deeply rooted in the region. In the early days of its establishment, it began as a branch school of Sorae Primary School, and then independently changed its name to Gyesu Elementary School.

According to recent reports, even though it is a traditional deep school, the number of new students is decreasing due to the lack of residential areas in the school district, and the number of students in one class is very small, around 10.
Nevertheless, some students commute from nearby new cities (e.g., Siheung Eungye District, Bucheon Okgil District), and are sometimes mentioned as an alternative to overcrowded schools.
This school has a local history and has established itself as an identity educational space by taking advantage of its advantages as a small and intimate learning community.
계수초등학교는 경기도 시흥시 계수로 203에 위치한 공립 초등학교로, 1949년 10월 1일에 개교하였다.
