I’m Dr. Tamara Klicek, an academic in Geography and Tourism. I come from South-East Europe, the Balkan Peninsula — a region that was once one country with six republics, and today has six fascinating nations: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
Each has its own stories, cultures, and landscapes — from the Adriatic coast to mountain villages. Now I live and work in Taiwan, another island full of natural and cultural wonders.
