Hello! My name is Jay Kishen. I am currently 19 years old from Puchong, Malaysia! I completed my pre-uni program at Pahang Matriculation College and I have been recently offered placement to study in Universiti Malaya under the Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics programme.
Malaysia is a country located in Southeast Asia and is home to approximately 34 million people as of 2025. Geographically, Malaysia is a tropical country, positioned slightly north of the equator, which has been blessed with natural abundance of floral and fauna.
Malaysia is divided into 13 states and 3 federal territories. The capital and largest city is Kuala Lumpur with an estimated population of 9 million (based on Klang Valley area). Demographically speaking, Malaysia is a multicultural nation consisting of Malays, Chinese and Indians, while also being home to other ethnic groups such as the Iban, Kadazan, Orang Asli and many more. All of these groups contribute to the vibrant and rich culture of Malaysia.
If I were to visit Korea in the near future, I'd love to visit the bustling city of Seoul and visit its historical sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace. I would also love to have some delicious Korean food such as kimchi and japchae. I'd also would like to admire the cointry's nature scene by visiting the Bukhansan National Park, where I would enjoy the clear streams and picturesque mountain peaks!
Hi Jay! I really enjoyed reading your introduction. It's impressive how detailed and clear your description of Malaysia is, and I love how you shared both the cultural and natural aspects of your country. I also found it interesting that you're planning to explore Seoul and Bukhansan-your enthusiasm for travel and food really comes through!
