Naivasha Girls is located in the picturesque town of Naivasha in Kenya's Rift valley, is one of the country's known national school. Over the years it has earned a reputation for academic excellence, discipline and holistic student development.
It was established in 1961 as a primary school for white children only known as Hill School. In 1975, the institution transitioned into a single gender high school boarding school,and the male students were transferred to Koelel High School in Gilgil. This journey marked the beginning of Naivasha Girls High School.
Students are involved in co curriculum activities such as sports,drama,music and debate. Sports like vollleyball, athletics,netball are popular in the school.
