Hello friends, my name is Diana Barasa, and I’m so excited and honored to introduce myself to you all. I’m a university student from Kenya with a deep love and appreciation for Korean culture — from your rich traditions, language, and food, to the kindness and unity that Korean society represents. It is my dream to one day visit Korea and experience it all firsthand.
I currently serve as a FISU Student Ambassador, vice chairperson of the FASU Students’ Committee and a Student Representative of the Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF). These roles have given me the opportunity to lead, serve, and connect with diverse people through sports youth empowerment, and cross-cultural exchange.
I’m a very proactive person, passionate about creating meaningful connections, and I always look forward to learning from others. I believe sports have a unique power to unite people beyond languages and borders — and through them, I’ve developed a strong spirit of teamwork, leadership, and friendship.
It means so much to me to be part of this group, and I can’t wait to get to know each of you. I hope to share my culture, learn more about yours, and build lasting friendships with all of you.
감사합니다 (Thank you) and warmest greetings
