Hello! My name is Soyoung Jang. I live in Gyeonggi Siheung, South Korea. I live with my family, and I have an older brother. All of my family loves to walk around. So we sometimes go out and walk together while talking.

I love to learn something new, like languages and musical instruments. I’m learning Spanish for 5 months. I can’t speak fluently yet but I’m practicing steadily. If possible, I wanna learn sign languages this year. I saw a performance with sign language and singing earlier this year, and It was very touching.

I also love to write a diary. It helps me to calm down and think back on my day.

My strength is leadership and ability to solve problems. With these strength, I can lead my class smoothly, and respond changes and emergencies well. When I confronted complicated problems, I can offer alternatives and quickly solve the problems. My weakness is having a lot of anxieties. When I go somewhere for the first time, I feel nervous. So I usually make a lot of plans to respond various situations. And even if I

confront problems, I overcome them with my ability to solve problems. This pre-prepared attitude has been a supplement to my weaknesses.

¡Hola! Me llamo Soyoung Jang. Me gusta mucho escuchar música, bailar, y andar. Y me encanta viajar.

  1. Hello, I am a high school student living in Korea. I have a question about Spain. What is the daily routine of Spanish high school students? Is it different from Korea? Also, how is the preparation for college entrance exams different from that of Korea?
And I have a lot of worries about career these days, what is the most popular career field in Spain?
Lastly, I wonder what values Spanish teenagers consider important.

    1. Thanks for the question! There are a lot of differences between Korea and Spain. In Korea, most students value a fast and efficient lifestyle. But most students in Spain prefer leisurely and laid-back life. For instance, students in Spain usually have class from 8 to 2. And they usually have a nap time, called siesta in spanish. I heard that unlike Korea, where group life is important, individual life is important in Spain. I don't know the exact popular occupations of Spain, but I heard it's similar to Korea. If you tell me the specific occupations of your interest, I'll explain more!
