Hello! Nice to meet you. I am Chloe, an ethics education student at Gyeongin National University of Education. I live in Seoul, the capital of South Korea—a city where history and modern life coexist in the most beautiful way. Living in Seoul, I feel lucky to be surrounded by such a rich blend of tradition, culture, and convenience. The public transportation is very efficient, the city is safe, and there's always something new to see—whether it's a small gallery in a quiet alley or a bustling street market full of energy. One of my favorite places in Seoul is Gyeongbokgung Palace, a historical landmark that was built in 1395 during the Joseon Dynasty. It’s located near the center of the city, and when you step inside, it feels like entering a different time. I love how the palace stands gracefully against the backdrop of modern skyscrapers. You can experience Korea’s royal heritage, wear traditional Hanbok, and watch the ceremonial changing of the guards. It's a place that reminds me of the beauty and dignity of Korean history. While I enjoy living in Seoul, I also dream of traveling the world to experience different cultures. One of the countries I’m most curious about is Egypt. Although I’ve never been there, I’ve wanted to visit ever since I learned about ancient Egyptian civilization in school. The pyramids, the Sphinx, and the stories of the pharaohs captured my imagination. I was especially fascinated by the idea that such advanced and mysterious structures were built thousands of years ago. I often imagine walking through ancient ruins, exploring museums in Cairo, and experiencing local life along the Nile River. I’d love to learn more about how Egyptians today connect with their long and proud history. I'm also curious about what daily life is like in Egypt, how people celebrate their traditions, and how young people balance their heritage with modern influences. I hope that one day, Korea and Egypt can continue to deepen their cultural exchange, and that I can be a part of it by learning, sharing, and connecting with others. Through understanding and curiosity, I believe we can build meaningful bridges between our countries.
