Hi! I’m Yerin from Korea again
Recently, while researching Indian landforms, I came across the Deccan Plateau, which I found very fascinating.
According to what I read, the Deccan Plateau was formed by basaltic lava flows from volcanic activity during the Paleozoic era.
I’m particularly curious about how this landform affects India's climate—especially the Southwest Monsoon—and how it influences the cultivation of major crops, such as ‘cotton’, in the region.
Also, would it be possible for you to share a photo of the Deccan Plateau or any natural or cultural landscapes from your area?
It’s totally okay if you can’t, but I’d love to see what scenery you’d be proud to show from your country!
Thank you so much :)
Hi, it's been a while, How are you?
It's spring in Korea, so cherry blossoms bloom, the weather is warm, and the wind is cool, so it's a good day to take a walk.
But I think spring came later than last year...TT Last year, March was warm, but this year, it was a little cold in March, so I wore a padded jacket.
It seems that climate change caused by global warming is being felt, how is the weather in India these days? And what do you think about the current progress of the climate change problem?
According to The Economic Times, the Indian government launched the National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) to expand EV charging infrastructure and invest in R&D, driven by the need to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, combat climate change, and address the country's severe air pollution in many cities. I heard that the plan aimed to deploy 6 to 7 million electric and hybrid vehicles by 2020. So, I'm curious whether this policy achieved its vehicle deployment targets and whether it has actually helped improve air quality in Indian cities.
