In particular, I have been researching the unique landforms of Cabo Verde, and one that caught my attention is the volcano Pico do Fogo. I understand that it is the highest mountain in the country and that it is still an active volcano. This naturally led me to wonder how such a powerful natural feature affects the lives of people living nearby.
For example, if there are communities or farmers residing around the volcano, I would be very interested to learn how they manage to live in harmony with a volcano that may erupt again in the future. I have also read that Pico do Fogo is a well-known tourist destination, and I would appreciate learning more about both the opportunities and challenges it may bring to the local people.
What is a mixture of Portuguese and African cultures?
What crops and how does the island nation of Cabo Verde grow and grow?
