Question: If it's a rain forest, there will be many kinds of evergreen broad-leaved trees, what kind of evergreen broad-leaved trees are distributed?? If you're in the hardwood business of making furniture, which tree is your favorite and why??

South Korea has a temperate climate with distinct four seasons, and each season shows characteristic weather patterns.

Spring (March to May): The cold of winter fades, and temperatures rise, making it the season when flowers bloom. However, there can be a large daily temperature range, and yellow dust or fine dust may occur, so attention to health is necessary.

Summer (June to August): The weather is hot and humid, with the influence of the monsoon season and typhoons. During the monsoon, there is a risk of flooding or landslides due to heavy rainfall, and preparations are needed when typhoons approach.

Autumn (September to November): The weather is clear and cool, with low humidity. This season sees a decrease in the influence of typhoons, and agricultural harvests take place.

Winter (December to February): Temperatures drop sharply in mid-winter, and snow may fall in some areas. Especially with the influence of the northwest winds, cold waves may occur, so caution is needed to prevent pipes from freezing and to maintain health.

Recent Weather (as of April 11, 2025): It is early April, entering the middle of spring. Nationwide, temperatures are rising, and pollen and fine dust levels may increase, so caution is needed for allergies or respiratory diseases. There is a large daily temperature range, so attention to clothing is required.

Average temperatures have increased, summers have become longer, and heatwaves and tropical nights have intensified. Additionally, heavy rainfall during concentrated downpours is increasing, while droughts in the spring are also becoming more frequent.

Typhoons have become stronger, and sea level rise and coastal erosion are emerging as issues. This has negatively affected agriculture, ecosystems, and public health in many areas.

Climate Change Response Strategy: Brunei established its "Brunei Climate Change Response Strategy" in 2001 and has been promoting various activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate climate change.

Renewable Energy Development: In an effort to reduce dependence on oil and natural gas, Brunei is actively developing and utilizing renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power. This is aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building a sustainable energy system.

Forest Protection and Reforestation: Brunei has rich tropical forests and is actively engaging in reforestation to protect and expand these forests. Forests play an important role in mitigating climate change as carbon sinks.
