My favorite place is Nodeul Island in Seoul, the capital of Korea. Nodeul Island is an oval-shaped piece of land in the middle of the Hangang Bridge, and its name is said to have come from the word “Nodeul,” which means “a stone where white herons play.” If you walk a little further from Nodeul Island’s lawn square, you will come across a park where you can see the bridge that Subway Line 1 passes over. Nodeul Island Hangang Park, famous for its sunsets, allows you to feel relaxed in nature while looking at the sparkling sunsets and willow trees fluttering in the wind. It is a great place to enjoy a picnic on a nice day, so I recommend visiting Nodeul Island.
제가 좋아하는 장소는 한국의 수도 서울의 노들섬입니다. 노들섬은 한강 대교 중간에 있는 타원형 모양의 땅으로 ‘백로가놀던 돌’이라는 뜻의 ‘노들’에서 이름이 유래했다고 합니다. 노들섬의 잔디광장에서 조금 더 걸어가면 지하철 1호선이 지나가는 다리가 보이는 공원이 나옵니다. 노을 명소로도 유명한 노들섬 한강공원은 반짝반짝한 윤슬과 바람에 흩날리는 버드나무를 보며 자연 속에서의 여유를 느낄 수 있습니다. 날씨가 좋은 날에 피크닉을 즐기기 좋은 곳이니 노들섬에 방문해보시길 추천드립니다.
