Join the Jeonbuk (Olympics) Supporters Event on February 20th – Online Participation Available!

The Jeonbuk (Olympics) Supporters Event will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at a small theater near Hongdae, Seoul! This is a fantastic opportunity to discover and share the hidden gems of Jeonbuk with the world, and the best part? You can join the event online no matter where you are!
Purpose and Significance of the Event
- Discover and promote new tourist attractions in 14 cities of Jeonbuk through the event and online participation.
- Showcase Jeonbuk’s captivating tourist destinations to youth in Korea and abroad via social media and various channels.
- Collect supportive messages for Jeonbuk’s Olympic bid and promote the province’s spirit and vision for the 2036 Summer Olympics.
How Can You Participate?
- Complete the LCD Mission: By participating in the LCD (Locate, Compare, Dream with Jeonbuk) project, you can increase your chances of being selected as an official Jeonbuk Supporter for the event! Your discoveries and insights will be shared with participants and featured during the event.

- Join Online: If you can't attend in person, don't worry! You can still participate online and contribute to spreading the word about Jeonbuk to a global audience. (If you cannot attend to online event due to your academic duty, just send your LCD project in advance to us!)
- Meet Special Guests: The event will feature notable figures such as Coach Park Hang-seo, Professor Yoo Hyun-joon, and Comedian Park Myung-soo, who will share their favorite tourist spots in Jeonbuk. Coach Park Hang-seo will also lend his support to Jeonbuk's bid for the 2036 Summer Olympics.
