The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 8th, “The
K-pop performance that will conclude the jamboree will be held at the Seoul
World Cup Stadium for two hours starting at 7 p.m. on the 11th.”
It was reported that the jamboree closing ceremony will be held prior
to the performance at the same location.
The government and the Jamboree organizing committee emphasized,
“Rechanging the concert venue to Seoul World Cup Stadium was an inevitable
decision due to the forecast of Typhoon Kanun passing through the Korean
Peninsula.”

Hey, this picture features Uk participants from my own personal group, Unit 90 from the West Midlands.
ReplyDeleteHi, I was in that exact building experiencing those exact emotions depicted in the photo. I too was a member of the jamboree and it was one of the best experiences one could imagine. Being a part of such history and representing my country was magical I wouldn’t trade that for anything. I know the jamboree didn’t go exactly to plan but I had a blast being able to go to the blue palace and read the history and feel the very private and secure area was so very mind blowing. I felt the jamboree was good fun but also it’s a shame the actual camping aspect of it was cut short a decision i at the point disagreed with but later understood the magnitude of the circumstance. Still I feel saddens by the fact we were evacuated as there were so many more people to meet and so many more things to do. Despite that I met loads of good friends I still keep in contact with today. Overall it was a big step to developing as a person and a real glimpse into the wonders of life yet to explore.
ReplyDeletethanks Lucas!! ^^ this is a member of my unit, who took the photo.
