I‘m going to introduce you to Turkmenistan. This country is located in the southwestern part of Central Asia, and interestingly, about 80% of its land is covered by the arid Karakum Desert.
Its capital is Ashgabat, which is affectionately known as the "City of Love." The city boasts a spectacular and truly unique landscape because almost all of its buildings are constructed from white marble. In fact, Ashgabat is officially listed in the Guinness World Records for having the highest concentration of white marble buildings in the world.
Beyond its striking architecture, Turkmenistan is also a global resource powerhouse. It possesses massive natural gas reserves, ranking as the fourth largest in the world.
