Plastic cups are left around the river or are introduced into the river by rainwater, causing water pollution and damage to the ecosystem. This problem can be analyzed by visualizing the point of waste generation or the place where waste generation is concentrated with a map or photo.

It is suggested to improve citizens' awareness by installing additional trash cans around the promenade and installing environmental protection guide signs or posters around the river. In addition, it is necessary to regularly conduct "plogging" that combines sports activities that collect waste on the side of the road and nature conservation activities to induce voluntary participation of citizens and increase interest and sense of responsibility for the preservation of the river environment.
