Hi, my name is Sion Park. I was born in Suwon, South Korea, but moved to Kyrgyzstan when I was two years old. I lived there for ten years until I was twelve, and then I came back to Korea. I lived in the capital city, Bishkek, and the time I spent there helped me develop a broader perspective on the world.
When it comes to music, I love playing the bass. The bass might not be the flashiest instrument out there, but it’s so attractive because it quietly holds down the center of the music within a band.
Also, my dream is to become a middle or high school homeroom teacher. Teaching teenagers is my ultimate dream and what I truly want to do. Just like the bass holds the center of a song, I want to be a reliable support system for teenagers going through their turbulent years. My goal is to become a warm-hearted teacher who truly connects with kids and guides them in the right direction.
안녕, 내 이름은 박시온이야. 나는 한국 수원에서 태어났지만 두 살 때 키르기스스탄으로 이사갔고, 12살까지 10년동안 살다가 한국으로 돌아오게 되었어. 나는 키르기스스탄의 수도인 비슈케크라는 지역에 살았는데, 그곳에서 보낸 시간 덕분에 세상을 더 넓게 보는 마음을 가지게 되었어. 나는 음악 중에서도 베이스를 연주하는 것을 좋아해. 베이스는 겉으로 화려하게 드러나지는 않지만, 밴드 안에서 전체적인 음악의 중심을 묵묵하게 잡아주는 매력적인 악기야. 또, 나의 꿈은 중고등학교 담임 선생님이야. 청소년들을 가르치는 것이 나의 꿈이자 내가 하고 싶은일이야. 음악에서 베이스가 중심을 잡아주는 것처럼, 나도 질풍노도의 시기를 겪는 청소년기 아이들 곁에서 든든한 버팀목이 되어주고 싶어. 아이들과 진심으로 소통하며 올바른 길로 이끌어주는 따뜻한 선생님이 되는 것이 내 목표야.
