GINUE Friend : Seongmin from Yeoncheon to United Kingdom

I was born on March 25, 2005, at Korea University Hospital, and I have lived in Yeoncheon-eup, Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do ever since, spending my school years there. Within Korea, I have traveled to Busan, Daegu, Gangneung, and Daejeon. I have also traveled abroad to Australia, Japan, and China. Among these, the most memorable and happiest trip for me was to Japan. In the future, I would like to travel to the United Kingdom because I want to watch a football match there.

저는 2005년 3월 25일에 고려대학교 병원에서 태어나 경기도 연천군 연천읍에서 현재까지 거주하며 학창시절을 보냈습니다. 국내는 부산, 대구, 강릉, 대전 등을 여행했으며, 해외는 호주, 일본, 중국 등을 여행해본 경험이 있습니다. 그중 가장 행복했던 여행지는 일본입니다. 향후 제가 여행해보고 싶은 국가는 영국입니다. 왜냐하면 축구관람을 하고 싶기 때문입니다.

My hometown, Yeoncheon, is a charming place that embraces the pristine nature of a UNESCO Global Geopark and thousands of years of history. The emerald waters of Jaein Falls and the breathtaking views of the columnar joints showcase an untouched, heavenly landscape. Meanwhile, the Jeongok-ri Paleolithic Site and Horogoruseong Castle—a Goguryeo fortress famous for its beautiful sunflowers—reveal the region's deep historical roots. On top of that, it is full of local specialties like premium Job’s tears (yulmu) and apples. As such, Yeoncheon is a proud hometown where a long history and vibrant nature come together beautifully.

저의 고향인 연천은 유네스코 세계지질공원의 청정 자연과 수천 년의 역사를 품은 매력적인 곳이다.에메랄드빛 재인폭포와 주상절리의 절경이 천혜의 비경을 자랑하며, 구석기 전곡리 유적지와 해바라기 명소인 고구려 호로고루성은 깊은 역사를 보여줍니다. 여기에 특산물인 명품 율무와 사과까지 가득합니다. 이처럼 연천은 유구한 역사와 살아 숨 쉬는 자연이 어우러진 자랑스러운 고향입니다.

모로코의 공식 화폐인 디르함(MAD)은 국외 반출입이 제한된 폐쇄 통화로, 모든 지폐 앞면에 현 국왕인 모하메드 6세의 초상이 그려져 있는 것이 특징입니다. 

(2) Mauritania

The Mauritanian Ouguiya (MRU) uses a rare non-decimal system where one unit is divided into five subunits. Following the 2018 currency reform, it was replaced with durable polymer banknotes. Currently, 20 to 1,000 Ouguiya banknotes featuring traditional Islamic patterns are primarily used.

My Geographical Exploration

I went on a field trip in Seoul under the theme of 'A place where I feel at ease' visiting Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Seokchon Lake, and Yeouido Hangang Park. I chose these places because I felt a sense of peace and true happiness whenever I was there.

'마음이 편안해지는 장소'를 주제로 서울답사를 갔다 왔습니다. 제가 간곳은 잠실야구장,석촌호수,여의도한강공원입니다. 이 곳을 갔을 때 마음의 편안함을 느꼈고 이 장소에 있을 때 행복감을 느낄 수 있었기 때문입니다.
