GG Friend: Joshua Paterson from New Zealand.

 

I’m Joshua Paterson, a third-year Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce student based in New Zealand.

I previously interned for a New Zealand Minister through a one week programme, and for the past three years, I’ve served as the Student Representative for the Wellington School of Business and Government at Victoria University of Wellington (continuing over 10 years of student representation).

Most recently, like Grace and a few others in this group chat, I had the privilege of attending the ASEAN AFMAM EAS 2025 Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia, where I served as Head of Government for the People’s Republic of China during the simulation.

I really look forward to meeting (and reconnecting) with you all later today (or tomorrow morning, New Zealand time)!
