Just added my Connectography Speech of El Salvador!
I was reading up on El Salvador and found out that a lot of the country’s land was formed by volcanic activity, like from the Santa Ana Volcano.
Do you happen to know any cool stories or personal experiences about living near volcanoes there?
And if you’ve ever taken any photos of them, I’d love to see! :)
Hi! The weather in Korea these days is right in the heart of spring.
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom across the country, especially in Seoul and other major cities. Just walking down the street feels magical with all the pink petals fluttering in the breeze. On weekends, lots of people head to parks and riversides to enjoy the blossoms, take photos, and soak in the spring vibes. The temperature during the day is pleasant, ranging from 18°C to 24°C, but it can still get a bit cool in the mornings and evenings, so it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket. Most days are sunny and bright, but occasionally we get spring showers or a spike in fine dust, so checking the forecast and air quality before going out is important.
Spring in Korea is short but incredibly beautiful—this is truly the perfect season for a walk, a picnic, or just enjoying nature.
If you ever get the chance to visit Korea, this is one of the best times to come!
But lately, we’ve started to notice that spring seems to be getting shorter, and the cherry blossoms are blooming earlier than usual.
The weather has become more unpredictable, with sudden heat, unexpected rain, and occasional fine dust warnings.
These patterns might be signs of climate change.
Here in Korea, more people are starting to realize the urgency of the climate crisis and are focusing on carbon neutrality, expanding renewable energy, and reducing plastic use.
Enjoying this beautiful season makes me think if we want to keep seeing these blossoms year after year, we need to start taking better care of the planet.
By the way, how is El Salvador dealing with climate change or environmental issues? Like, is your government working on protecting Rio Lempa or forests, or using more renewable energy?
