안녕하세요. 저는 대한민국에 살고 있는 평범하지만, 호기심 많고 새로운 것을 좋아하는 사람입니다.
평소에 여행, 음악 감상, 다양한 문화 체험을 즐기며, 새로운 사람들과의 만남을 통해 세상을 더 넓게 바라보려고 노력하고 있습니다. 특히 영어와 세계 여러 나라의 문화에 관심이 많아, 틈날 때마다 외국 영화나 다큐멘터리를 보며 공부하는 걸 좋아해요.
몇 년 전, 제게 큰 전환점이 된 경험이 하나 있어요. 바로 미국 뉴욕 여행입니다.
늘 영화나 사진 속에서만 보던 뉴욕을 실제로 걸어보면서, 그 활기차고 에너지 넘치는 분위기에 깊이 매료됐어요. 타임스퀘어의 화려한 불빛, 센트럴파크의 평화로운 풍경, 메트로폴리탄 미술관에서 본 세계적인 예술작품들까지… 모든 순간이 잊지 못할 기억으로 남아 있습니다. 무엇보다도 다양한 인종과 문화를 가진 사람들이 함께 살아가는 그 모습이 인상 깊었어요. 그 경험 덕분에 더 넓은 세상을 꿈꾸게 되었고, 나중에는 꼭 한 번 다시 뉴욕을 포함해 미국 전역을 여행해보고 싶다는 생각을 하게 됐습니다.
사실 저는 단순히 미국뿐 아니라 아메리카 대륙 전체에 큰 관심을 가지고 있어요.
그 중에서도 우루과이는 저에게 특히 흥미로운 나라입니다. 남미에서는 비교적 잘 알려지지 않았지만, 정치적으로 안정적이고 소박한 문화가 인상 깊었습니다. 자연과 도시가 조화를 이루고, 사람들의 삶의 방식에서 여유와 따뜻함이 느껴져 꼭 한 번 직접 경험해보고 싶은 곳이에요.
미국에 대해서는 다문화 사회와 그 안에서의 교육, 예술, 기술의 공존 방식에 관심이 많습니다. 뉴욕에서 느꼈던 다양성과 자유로움은 제 가치관에도 큰 영향을 줬고, 미국 사회의 여러 측면을 더 깊이 이해하고 싶다는 생각이 들었습니다.
최근에는 영국에도 큰 관심을 갖고 있습니다. 고유의 역사와 전통, 문학과 음악, 문화 콘텐츠들이 저를 끌어당겼고, 영국식 영어의 발음과 표현 방식에도 매력을 느껴서 꾸준히 영어 공부를 이어가고 있어요.
조금 독특할 수 있지만, 바티칸 시국에 대한 관심도 있습니다. 세계에서 가장 작은 국가이자 가톨릭 교회의 중심지인 바티칸은, 그 자체로 전 세계 역사와 예술, 신앙이 교차하는 특별한 공간이라 생각합니다. 언젠가 꼭 직접 방문해 예술과 종교, 철학이 어우러진 그 분위기를 느껴보고 싶어요.
이처럼 저는 세상을 직접 보고 느끼며, 다양한 경험을 통해 저를 성장시키는 삶을 지향합니다. 앞으로도 계속해서 도전하고 배우며, 더 넓은 세계 속의 나를 발견해 나가고 싶습니다.

Hello! I’m someone living in South Korea who’s curious, open-minded, and passionate about exploring new things.
I enjoy traveling, listening to music, and experiencing different cultures. I always try to broaden my perspective by meeting new people and learning about the world. I’m particularly interested in English and international cultures, and I often watch foreign films and documentaries as a way to study and connect with the world beyond my own.
One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had was traveling to New York City.
I had seen it so many times in movies and pictures, but walking through it in person was a completely different experience. I was fascinated by the city’s energy, from the dazzling lights of Times Square to the peacefulness of Central Park, and the incredible art in the Metropolitan Museum. What impressed me the most was the vibrant diversity—people of all backgrounds coexisting in one place. This trip inspired me to dream even bigger, and I hope to explore more of the United States in the future.
My curiosity doesn’t stop at the U.S.—I have a deep interest in the Americas as a whole.
Among them, I’m especially intrigued by Uruguay. Though it’s not as widely known as some other South American countries, its political stability, modest culture, and balance between nature and urban life deeply appeal to me. I’d love to experience the warmth and simplicity of life there someday.
When it comes to the United States, I’m not only drawn to the diversity of its people, but also the way different cultures, education systems, arts, and technologies coexist. The freedom and openness I felt in New York has influenced my values and made me eager to better understand American society.
Lately, I’ve also developed a strong interest in the United Kingdom. I admire its rich history, literature, music, and cultural influence. British English and its unique expressions have caught my attention, and I’ve been steadily studying English to connect more with it.
And perhaps a bit unusually, I also have a fascination with Vatican City. As the smallest country in the world and the heart of the Catholic Church, it’s a unique place where global history, religion, and art intersect. I hope to visit one day to witness its powerful atmosphere in person.
In short, I strive to grow by experiencing the world directly—by seeing, feeling, and understanding it for myself. I want to keep challenging myself, learning constantly, and discovering who I am through the wider world around me.
