The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of
Education and the Gyeonggi International Education Institute announced on the
11th that they are promoting cultural and educational exchanges between
Gyeonggi Province and Ukraine.
The program, which runs until the 19th,
targets Ukrainian scout members who participated in the 25th Jamboree. It
includes visits to schools in Gyeonggi Province, exchanges with students, and
experiences of Korean culture.
The aim is to enhance mutual
understanding between students of both countries and strengthen their capacity
as future societal leaders.
Key activities include cultural and
educational exchanges through school visits, Korean cultural experiences guided
by Gyeonggi Province students, traditional and modern Korean cultural
experiences, and historical experiences of Korea and Gyeonggi Province.
In particular, it is expected to
contribute to expanding student international exchanges by providing
opportunities for Gyeonggi Province students and Ukrainian students to
experience Korean history and culture together.
