Teenagers participating in the '2023 25th World Scout Jamboree' in Incheon are building the image of 'Incheon, the city of culture and tourism'.

On the 10th, at the Incheon Global Campus (IGC) Grand Hall in Songdo International City, Incheon, a K-POP performance titled 'Jamboree With Incheon' was held for Jamboree participants staying in Incheon. The city, in collaboration with Shinhan Bank, organized the K-POP performance.

The performance featured a variety of acts including the 8-member boy band '8turn' as well as 'Episode', 'Contemporary', 'Eshion', 'Ailione', and 'Tribi'. Additionally, the Incheon City Orchestra performed a brass ensemble including trumpets, horns, trombones, tubas, and percussion instruments to fully immerse the Jamboree participants in the charm of Korea. The city invited all Jamboree participants who have stayed at Yonsei University's Global Campus. Among the 1,729 Jamboree participants at Yonsei's Global Campus, there are foreign teenagers who participated in the Jamboree but left early.

On the same day, the city also operated a mobile cinema at Yonsei International Campus, showing two movies set in Incheon at the Underwood Memorial Library 7th floor multipurpose room. The city hopes that through these activities, Jamboree participants can spend their time in Incheon without boredom and return home with good memories of Korea and Incheon. Especially, on the 12th, there will be a farewell performance for them. Additionally, on the 13th, they will be invited to Incheon United FC's home stadium, the Incheon Football Stadium, to watch a professional soccer match after performances at the plaza.

Previously, the city prepared special tourist courses and experiential programs in various parts of Incheon for Jamboree participants staying in Incheon.

Kim Chung-jin, Director of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department of the City, said, "We will do our best to ensure that Jamboree participants staying in Incheon can experience K-POP Hallyu culture and safely conclude the event, and achieve great success."
