Jungsan-ri was created in the late 18th century by combining Jungchon-ri and Songsan-ri, and the name Jungsan has its roots. It is now difficult to guess what it is with the construction of Incheon International Airport here in Yeongjong, but like its name, Jungsan will rise as the center of Incheon education.

중산이란 지명은 18세기 말 중촌리와 송산리가 합쳐져서 생긴 중산리라는 마을에 그 뿌리를 두고 있습니다. 이곳 영종에 인천국제공항이 들어서면서 지금은 그 본래의 모습을 짐작하기조차 어렵게 되었지만 그 이름처럼 중산은 인천교육의 중심으로 우뚝 솟아날 것 입니다.
