Hello,My name is Haya Khaled, and I am currently a senior majoring in Korean and English at the University of Jordan. I am fluent in several languages, including Arabic, English, Turkish, Korean, and Spanish, and I have a deep interest in translation, literature, and intercultural communication. In particular, my passion for Korean literature, history, and culture has been at the core of my academic journey.
During my studies, I have achieved various accomplishments. I was selected as an outstanding student by the King Sejong Institute and was recognized for my dedication to literature and cultural exploration by winning an award in the “Asian World Literature Writing Contest.”
Beyond the classroom, I have actively participated in various activities to promote cultural exchange. I joined Korean exchange students living in Jordan on visits to major historical sites such as the Amman Citadel to foster mutual understanding between our countries. On Hangul Day, I wore a hanbok and introduced aspects of Korean culture to the public. I have also regularly participated in national events such as the celebration of Jordan’s 79th Independence Day.
Based on these experiences, I aspire to contribute more deeply to academic and cultural exchange. With strong language skills, academic achievements, and cultural sensitivity, I am committed to continuing my growth as a well-rounded and capable individual.

저는 요르단 대학교 한국어·영어 전공 4학년에 재학 중인 하야 칼레드입니다. 아랍어, 영어, 터키어, 한국어, 스페인어 등 다양한 언어를 구사하며, 번역과 문학, 그리고 문화 간 소통에 깊은 관심을 가지고 있습니다. 특히 한국 문학과 역사, 문화에 대한 열정은 제 학문적 여정의 중심이 되어 왔습니다.
학업 중에는 다양한 성과를 이뤘습니다. 세종학당에서 우수 학생으로 선정되었으며, “Asian World Literature Writing Contest” 에서 수상함으로써 문학과 문화 탐구에 대한 저의 노력을 인정받았습니다.
또한 교실 밖에서도 다양한 활동에 참여하며 문화 교류에 기여해 왔습니다. 요르단에 거주 중인 한국 유학생들과 함께 암만 시타델 등 주요 유적지를 방문하며 양국 간 상호 이해를 높였고, 한글날 행사에서는 한복을 착용하고 한국 문화를 소개하는 역할을 맡기도 했습니다. 요르단 독립 79주년 기념 행사 등 국내 행사에도 꾸준히 참여해 왔습니다.
이러한 경험을 바탕으로 학문적, 문화적 교류에 더욱 깊이 기여하고자 합니다. 언어 능력, 학업 성과, 문화적 감수성을 고루 갖춘 인재로서 앞으로도 끊임없이 성장해 나가겠습니다.
