Hello! My name is Seohyun Hong, and I live in Seoul, South Korea. I’m majoring in Elementary Education, and my dream is to become a global-minded teacher. Welcome and ask anything about me and korea. I'm interested in Belgium, Canada, Indonesia and Japan.
I live in Jamsil, Seoul. Let me introduce about Jamsil to you! Jamsil is one of the most vibrant and exciting places in Seoul, offering a perfect mix of culture, entertainment, and nature. It’s a place I’m proud to call home, and I think you’ll love it too.
1. Lotte World and Lotte World Tower
In my neighborhood, there’s an amazing amusement park called Lotte World. It’s one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the world, with fun rides, ice skating, and lively parades. It’s a perfect place to hang out with friends or family.
Right next to it, you’ll find the Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in South Korea. With 123 floors, it offers stunning views of the city from the Seoul Sky Observatory, as well as luxury shopping and fine dining.
2. Seokchon Lake
If you’re looking for some peace and quiet, Seokchon Lake is the perfect spot. This beautiful lake has walking trails and is especially stunning in the spring when cherry blossoms bloom. It’s a favorite place for both locals and visitors to relax and take photos.
3. Jamsil Sports Complex
Jamsil is also known for its sports and cultural events. The Jamsil Sports Complex, including the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, was a main venue for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Today, it hosts concerts, sports games, and outdoor festivals.
4. Convenient and Fun
Getting to Jamsil is super easy with Subway Line 2 and Line 8. Plus, the area is full of great restaurants, cafes, and shops, so you’ll never run out of things to do.
5. Full of Charm
Jamsil is a mix of modern attractions and peaceful natural spots, making it an amazing place to live or visit. So, if you ever come to Seoul, I hope you can visit Jamsil. It’s a place that truly has something for everyone!
