Hello!my name is Aisha bilal jawo

And that’s me

At the Port of the Gambia which is located at the capital city https://www.google.com/maps/place/CCVG%2B68X+Gambia+Ports+Authority,+Banjul/@13.4346852,-16.5839075,13z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0xec29e7911651777:0x707379392a3b9026!8m2!3d13.443119!4d-16.5741276!16s%2Fg%2F1tdnb0gr.

The Gambia ports authority (GPA), was established in 1972 as a statutory public corporation.During the field trip to the port, I learned about the intricate logistics involved in managing the movement of goods and cargo. It was fascinating to see how different types of ships and containers are coordinated to ensure smooth operations. I also gained an appreciation for the importance of international trade and the role that ports play in facilitating global commerce. Exploring the various terminals and witnessing the massive cranes in action was definitely a highlight. Overall, it was an eye-opening experience that gave me a deeper understanding of the maritime industry. Let me know if you'd like to hear more about it or if there's anything specific you'd like to know!

This is the view at the entrance of the port to the sea 🌊

And here we have a selfie of me ,ML.sankareh who visited Korea and some school friends .

Visiting Korea can be a wonderful experience. I want  to visit korea ,to explore some goodies such as the rich culture, delicious food, K-pop, and historical landmarks and make new friends . Below we have some picture memories of My friends who visited Korea.

too bad that I  couldn’t go with my  friends, but it's great that they had a lot of fun and experiences in Korea!  And I want to try my very best to be a JJ ambassador who will represent my country in the next trip .

    1. Oh, I'm glad you're interested in the customs and traditions of the Fulani people! One important aspect of Fulani culture is the strong emphasis on cattle herding. Cattle are not only a source of livelihood for the us Fulani, but they also hold symbolic value and are central to our way of life. The Fulani also have a rich oral tradition, where stories, proverbs, and poetry are passed down through generations. It's fascinating to learn about different cultures, isn't it? 😊🌍

    1. Hi Joshua! I am glad that you want to know more about the fulani culture. The fulani have diverse cultures and traditions which has an impact on the language spoken. In The Gambia, there are different dialects of the Fula language spoken by the Fulani people. Some of the main dialects include Pulaar, Pular, and Fulfulde. These dialects have slight variations in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, but they are all part of the Fula language family. The specific dialect spoken by the Fulani people in The Gambia may vary depending on the region and community. The Fula language is a beautiful and important part of Gambian culture. 🇬🇲🗣️✨In The Gambia, the Fulani people have a few traditional dishes that are enjoyed in their cuisine. One popular dish is called "Maafe," one of my favorites which is a hearty peanut stew made with meat (such as beef or lamb), vegetables, and a rich peanut sauce. Another delicious dish is "Fulani Soup," a flavorful soup made with okra, tomatoes, onions, and various spices. These dishes showcase the unique flavors and culinary traditions of the Fulani people in The Gambia. 🥘🥜😋 Gambian Fulani customs and traditions are fascinating. In The Gambia, the Fulani people value community and extended families. They have a strong sense of togetherness and support, often living in close-knit communities called compounds. The Fulani also have a rich musical heritage, with the hoddu instrument being an integral part of their traditional music. Education and oral history are highly valued, as they pass down knowledge and stories from generation to generation. It's truly incredible to see how our customs and traditions shape our way of life. 🌾🎶📚
