On the afternoon of the 7th, Yongin City decided to accommodate around 5,000 participants from 35 countries attending the 25th World Scout Jamboree. They coordinated with 15 entities including corporations, universities, and religious institutions to arrange accommodations. After welcoming the participants on the 8th, Yongin City actively engaged in providing experiential programs and other forms of support.

The number of participants accommodated by Yongin accounted for about one-seventh of the total participants, and it comprised approximately 40% of the participants who moved to Gyeonggi Province, making it the local government with the highest number of participants nationwide, excluding metropolitan areas.

According to data from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Jeollabuk-do accommodated 5,440 participants, Seoul accommodated 3,130, Incheon accommodated 3,250, and Chungcheongbuk-do accommodated 2,710. This indicates that the scale of participant accommodation in Yongin Special City was comparable to or greater than that of metropolitan areas.

Following Yongin, Paju accommodated around 1,500 participants across 5 facilities, while Suwon Special City accommodated around 1,300 participants across 4 facilities.

Yongin City collaborated with businesses, universities, religious institutions, and public agencies to provide diverse experiential programs for the sudden influx of over 5,000 participants. The participants engaged in various activities such as visiting Cheoinseong, attending performances at the Cultural Arts Center and Po Eun Art Hall, participating in programs organized by the Cultural Foundation, experiencing water activities at the Youth Training Center, touring the Gwacheon Science Museum, experiencing traditional culture through visits to Beomnyun Temple and Wa Woojeongsa Temple, participating in fire safety drills, visiting automobile factories, and touring the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
