Dr. Fuangarun Preededilok from Chulalongkorn University is the Head of the Department of Educational Policy, Management, and Leadership at the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, focuses on education for sustainable development (ESD), participatory approaches in school management, and models of autonomous schooling. She has engaged with UNESCO and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network on teacher capacity and sustainability initiatives across the region.
For International level, she is member of ESD Teacher Education Institutions Network operated by UNESCO-SEAMEO and Education for Sustainability Asia Network operated by National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is also the Advisory Committee of Global Environmental Education Partnership Asia-Pacific Regional Center.
She has taught Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) at Chulalongkorn University and other universities for almost ten years. She done researches more than 20 projects and published 19 papers. The paper related to ESD such as Guidelines to Develop Learning and Teaching Education for Sustainable Development Courses. She wrote a chapter in Education and Sustainability: Paradigms, Policies and Practices in Asia that published by Routledge, and wrote book titled A Paradigm of Education for Sustainable Development.
For volunteer works, she is Vice President of Thai Association of Women Universities, Vice President of Institute of Buddhist Management for Happiness and Peace Foundation, and Registrar of Association of EDU CU Alumni.
