Hey everyone, I’m Jaden — excited to be part of this global GG Club community!
A little about me:
I’ve always been curious about the world and what makes people tick, so I’ve been reading books on mental health lately. I’m big on understanding others and having meaningful conversations.
🎧 Music is a big part of my life — I listen to a lot of indie and R&B. Some of my favorite artists are laufey, clairo, Daniel Caesar, and steve lacy. Their music helps me think and reset.
🥗 Food-wise, I keep it simple — Chipotle and Jersey Mike’s are my go-to spots.
🏀 I also like to stay active: basketball is a huge part of my life, and I sometimes hit the gym or go for long walks and deep talks with friends.
🎙️ I’m also into podcasts — especially ones that dive into big questions or tell really thoughtful stories. I’ve been into TB4Y, and jumpers jump lately. And yes… I occasionally get stuck doomscrolling on TikTok too. 😂
🌍 Travel-wise: I’ve visited around 25 countries (I kind of lost track). South Korea stands out the most — the mix of calm and chaos really stayed with me. Plus, I have family there (my grandparents, cousins, uncles and aunts), which made it even more meaningful.
💬 I’m not the most extroverted, but I really care about real connection — the kind that goes beyond small talk. I’d rather talk about something meaningful. I think that’s how real friendships — and global understanding — start.
🎓 About My School – Olentangy High School
I go to Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio, a public school with about 1,700 students. I am a freshman (9th grade). We start the day at 7:20 AM and finish at 2:35 PM. The school is known for its academic strength and welcoming community. There are many AP classes like Psychology, Computer Science, and U.S. History, as well as fun electives like Film Studies, Forensic Science, and Digital Art. We also have over 25 varsity sports teams, including basketball, football, and track, and more than 50 student clubs, from Robotics and eSports to Model UN, Jazz Band, and Diversity Club. It’s a place that really supports both academic success and personal growth. You can learn more at ohs.olentangy.k12.oh.us.
Can’t wait to meet everyone and learn with you this summer!
Photo 1: This was taken during my recent winter trip to Mazatlán, Mexico. The sunset caught me by surprise — it was one of those moments that just makes you stop and take it all in.
Photo 2: A late-night walk with a friend, with a quick stop at a gas station. I take these walks or bike rides to clear my head and reset — it's something I value in my everyday life.
Photo 3: Just a regular night out, nothing wild — just good energy and people I trust. These are the moments I remember most.
Lovely story ❤️🔥
