Hi, my name is Daniel, I'm 18 years old and I'm from Mexico City. I love trying new food and enjoying good naps. I want to share with you my amazing experience at the World Scout Jamboree .
The journey began full of excitement. Our flight had a stopover in Japan, which allowed us to explore a bit of the country. It was there that I made my first friends on this great adventure🫂. A few hours later, we boarded the flight to Incheon International Airport🛬, and I couldn’t believe it. After so many years, I was finally in the place where this incredible event would take place. It felt like a dream come true✨.
Before the Jamboree began, I took the opportunity to explore some parts of South Korea. During this time, I met people who would also be attending the camp and discovered wonderful places in the country. One of my favorites was Hongdae, a vibrant neighborhood where I got to play, shop for souvenirs, and, most importantly, try delicious Korean food like kimchi, bibimbap, and tteokbokki🍽
When we finally arrived at the camp, I dedicated myself to exploring every corner⛺. My goal was to meet people, trade items, and, of course, make friends. The Cultural Day was especially memorable. We organized visits to other camps, inviting others to try our traditional food, Mexican sweets, and participate in traditional games from our country🎉. It was an amazing experience that allowed me to share a piece of my culture while learning about others.
This trip was, without a doubt, one of the most special moments of my life, filled with learning, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. It’s an experience I will carry in my heart forever!❤
Ohhhhh nice!! What kind of traditional games ? Can you explain me one ?
ReplyDeleteWe play a game called Loteria where cards with pictures are drawn at random and announced out loud. Players mark the corresponding pictures on their cards, and the first to complete an entire card wins and shouts ¡Loteria!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhh that’s sounds really funny
