Azerbaijan will host the next World Environment Day on 5 June 2026, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The 2026 theme will spotlight the vital connection between urbanisation and climate change, reflecting Azerbaijan’s ongoing commitment to strengthening global environmental cooperation and delivering impactful, inclusive climate action.
