Hello, my name is Jane, and my Korean name is Jiwon. I’m in my final semester, majoring in Education, with a goal to become an elementary school teacher. I’m especially interested in teaching social studies and geography, as I love exploring cultures and histories from around the world. I’m particularly drawn to countries like France and Japan due to their rich art history and cultural heritage.
In the future, I hope to create engaging lessons that help students connect with global cultures. For example, I’d love to design a class that introduces Impressionist art from France, connecting it to history, or a lesson about Japanese geography and traditions. My recent travels to the U.S., where I visited many museums, inspired me to bring more art and cultural studies into the classroom.
