Sunghee Lee, the CEO of CONTEC and a pioneering leader in the K-space industry,
gave a lecture at GGSS.
He is one of a pioneer in the space industry!
I'd like to introduce you to CEO Lee Sung-hee, a shining star in South Korea's aerospace industry.
CEO Lee worked at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) for an impressive 16 years, where he was responsible for the design and development of the ground station system for Naro, South Korea's first space launch vehicle.
Isn't that remarkable?
In an industry dominated by Westerners, he was one of the few Asians. Most were indifferent to him, and some seemed to look down on him. However, he successfully established 12 space ground stations worldwide, making him the first in Asia to physically build a global network of ground stations for space services.
This video features his story, and I highly recommend it to friends interested in the space industry.
Here is his excellent lecture at GG Summer School 2024. Please get his insights thorough the below video. You can leave your comment or questions on the comment section.
Thanks for his contribution.
