Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) provided various experiential
programs prepared by the city, businesses, universities, and others to the
5,023 Jam Berry members from 35 countries, who moved from Sae Man Geum in
Jeollabuk Province to Yongin.
According to the city on the 9th, the members were divided into
several teams on that day to visit Cheoinseong, watch performances at the
Cultural Arts Center and Po Eun Art Hall, experience water activities at the
Youth Training Center, tour the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and Gwacheon Science
Museum, visit Everland Caribbean Bay in Yongin, participate in fire safety
education, leadership training, and visit automobile factories.
The city plans to provide various cultural and arts performance
programs, visits to tourist attractions and temples, and taekwondo
demonstration programs until the 12th for the members. The various program
locations for the Jam Berry members in Yongin include Yongin Rural Theme Park,
Po Eun Art Hall, Cultural Arts Center, Youth Training Center, Myongji
University Performance Hall, Gyeonggi Arts Center, Gyeonggi Provincial Museum,
Gwacheon Science Museum, Cheoinseong, Beomnyun Temple, and Waoojeong Temple.
